Update

So i was hoping that i would be able to update every week with something fun, new, and exciting about the house.... but it has been 3 weeks and nothing new. They gave our house to a different builder in DR Horton and we seem to have "lost a few days in the process"..... more like weeks. I had my initial moment of frustration, but thanks to the wisdom and encouragement of my fiance, I am trusting that the Lord has a plan for these delays..... maybe more cushion when the down payment time comes? So there are no new pictures, but hopefully next week the vinyl siding will be on and we can start updating a little more.

Some sweet times in my life in the past month have been some great showers! Andy and I had a fun couples party BBQ thingy at Bryan and Kennie's house. We had a great time of fun and laughter! It was such a great day to be outside and enjoy our friends and family. The next weekend, I had a shower with the church ladies. Beth shared such a sweet devotional with us about marriage. I love her realness and honesty about learning from her own imperfections and sharing them with all of us! It was such a GREAT shower, and you know with Sharon Leader there it did not lack any outbursts of laughter! This past weekend, I had a shower with my mom's side of the family. We had lots of fun talking about things of the past, present, and future! My Aunts did a great job with the food and CAKE!

This weekend, Andy will be a college graduate! WOOHOO! He will graduate from UNCC with a degree in accounting. I am so proud of all of his hard work and graduating in the top 15% of his class. He has finished his last year working full time as an accountant and taking his last few classes at night. It has been a long road for him this past year, but has handle everything well and still made A's and B's. We look forward to a fun weekend with family celebrating his accomplishments and letting him know how proud we are of him!
