Finally an update!

So lots of people have mentioned that I haven't posted new pics and they want to see the nursery.  Things around here have been crazy and even though I have finished sewing projects, I haven't really felt like the nursery was in good condition to be photographed.  Yesterday, and good friend came over and helped me move a bunch of stuff and get things where they need to be!  So here are some pictures of the nursery!  I haven't put things on the wall yet.  We still have a bookshelf and some things to do before I feel like I can put some things on the walls, but you can see all the things my sewing machine (and some hand stitching as well) has been busy putting together!

I am now 35 weeks!  The picture below is from 31 weeks, but I will try to get a new one up after Christmas!

sorry for the shadow... we were on our way out the door and just snagged the pic quickly over thanksgiving break at my parents house.

The crib.  you see the red bumper, green sheet from thelandofnod.com, and the orange bedskirt.

the curtain!  sorry for the poor lighting.  it was at night, and the light in the room isn't good for pics.

our chair!  Ella and I will get lots of quality feeding time here!  the finished quilt is on the back of the chair!

and lastly, our kid table in the play room.  we bought this from some church friends and sanded it down and painted it black.  not any time too soon, but I plan to make a curtain, chair cushions, and some throw pillows for the couch up there that will coordinate together!

I have some people to thank for helping me and encouraging me through these projects!  So really quickly, Kelly- thanks for all your help in the sewing projects and thanks for letting me break two of your needles! =)  Angela, thanks for coming over and helping me sand and paint the furniture... and hang my frame collage in the entryway!  And of course, we can't forget my fabulous husband who stuck with me through the grunting and frustrations of beginner's mistakes, and who also took time one evening to hang the curtain and put the chair together (he even offered to help hand stitch the quilt towards the end when my back was hurting and I just wanted it to be over)!!

Sorry it has been so long!
