Plymouth Colony Reunion

"The Pilgrims and Squanto are getting together for another BIG FEAST and you are invited!"
The "young adults" of Desiring God Community Church got together for an early Thanksgiving celebration at our house. Andy and I made the "turkey" (it was really a chicken roaster... long story) and provided drinks while the other guests provided dessert and sides. You were to come dressed as a Pilgrim or Indian. The food was "fan-diddly-tastic" (that is called a tmesis), and the Pilgrims and Indians made peace together by playing a big game of Cranium. In the end, we all enjoyed the coming together of old friends and mingling with new friends! Can't wait for the 2008 reunion!

poor Rob really tried to get his team out of the first quadrant on the board... never did!?

John in the back is a casino owner indian? you should have seen his belt... it was his MOM's!

Another group picture... i was a little late

YAY! love the blog! and the pics. More, more! Enjoyed handy dandy andy, as well. In college we had a gas station named Handy Andy . . . you know we lived in the farmlands, the gas station was the best we could do. It was a fave hangout. 99 cent breadsticks on Tuesdays and 67 cent Polar Pops . . .

those were the days . . .
