So... long long ago in a far away land, there was a time when some good friends got together to learn to make PIE! (This did happen over a month ago.... sorry for the delay!) REALLY THOUGH... Kelly Keller had some of us young folk over to teach us how to make homemade pie! We had to bring our own filling ingredients and bakeware, but Kelly provided the ingredients for crust and a recipe card to take home! We had a GREAT time! Kelly made an apple/cranberry pie, Erica made a yummy chocolate pecan pie, Megan made a pumpkin pie and carved a pumpkin with the extra dough that cooked on the top in the middle. Erin and I made apple pies. This picture is the final finish of my apple pie. It is hard to see the center, but I carved a heart out of the middle and layed the dough half way through. I asked Andy what pie he wanted and he said apple, so I made it for him... with LOVE....hence the hearts!
