We had our first appointment today at 4:00pm! It was confirmed that we are indeed expecting a baby! Because I have longer cycles (which was the cause of our whole issue the past few months), you can't pinpoint a due date based on the first day of my cycle. I was charting my temperature to help us determine what my cycles were doing, so I had thought I was going to be seven weeks tomorrow.
Dr. Jones felt around and thought I was eight weeks.... but wanted to do an ultrasound (YAY!!) to definitely make sure! So we got an ultrasound (i really wanted one.. signs of life in there) and the ultrasound tech said I was seven weeks today!
So we are due January 27th! We were able to hear the heartbeat on the ultrasound as well! We (andy especially) definitely feel like this is real now!
It has been a long journey... maybe one day I will blog our story, but I am thankful for the lessons the Lord has taught me through having to trust on His promises and character! I will scan the US pictures and post them sometime soon!
So there are the details we have all been waiting for! Thanks for rejoicing with me! Please continue to pray for health for me and the little blueberry!
