P90X- Week 1

So we made it through the first week!  We have actually had a great time working out together- encouraging and pushing one another, laughing with one another, and grocery shopping together now that Andy haa a big interest in what he is eating.  We will basically replicate last weeks workout for the next two weeks and then have a recovery week of a lot of yoga before we move to the next phase.  We are certainly feelings i in our sore muscles from head to toe!

We do AB ripper X every other day, and the first day, we couldn't get through the first 30 in and out core exercises, but the second time we did it, we got through them... so we are seeing progress!  It is also interesting to see how much better we feel with our diet, and the day that we had to splurge with dinner with some friends, we noticed the difference in the way we felt with more carbs than we would usually eat.

As for the numbers..... I have lost 2 pounds and 2.5 inches in total.  Andy hasn't been keeping track of numbers, so maybe next week we will have some numbers for ya!  More Pictures won't come until after we finish phase 1.
