Here Comes The Sun

Little piece of trivia about my husband...his favorite Beatles song is "Here comes the Sun"

This is also an extremely ironic post as I asked my husband to write about why "Here comes the Sun" is his favorite Beatles song. 

 He said, "I can't write out why I like it.  I just like it!  I could be pretentious and explain how the song has a bunch of layers to it.  At the simplest layer it is a song explaining how excited George is that winter is finally over and the warmth is breaking through.  On another layer it is explaining how good it feels to be emerging from a trial; but the song also has an evil irony lurking beneath it, considering it is this great uplifting song written in Eric Clapton's garden who eventually made a move on George Harrison's wife causing some crazy stuff that led to their divorce and the marriage of Eric and George's wife.  Do you think George was singing "Here Comes the Sun" after all that?  Really though...I just like the song."

After Andy explained this to me I simply asked him to write out what he said, so in the end he did end up writing a post as to why "Here Comes the Sun" is his favorite Beatles song.  Thanks Babe!!
