The Others

There were lots of other people who came to visit us and meet Ella in the hospital and at home.  We didn't get pictures with everyone, but we have enjoyed all the people who have spent time with us!

The night Ella was born, there were lots of people in the waiting room anxiously waiting the news "She's here!"  Laura's parents known as Mama and Pops to Ella were there along with her brother Uncle Fryan.  Andy's parents known as Grandma and Grandpa and Andy's sister Aunt Jambo were there as well!  Laura's friend Kelly Keller (you met in a previous post) and her college roommates were there as well (Julie and Noah LaCoursiere, Summer and Michael Nunn, and of course Suzy was my nurse).  It was a great night with dear friends and family!

The next day, Michelle and Sharon Leader came to visit us!  We have known the Leaders since 2005- before we were even engaged!  They have been a solid family that we love and respect and look up to as we begin a family of our own!  Michelle was in middle school when I met them, and she is now a college freshman!  CRAZY!  Both of these women are amazing and I love their friendship!  That night, the Runners came to visit for a bit... Julie was my diabetes go to person cause she had it when she was pregnant!  The best advice she gave me was a snack idea to get a chocolate fix... chocolate teddy grahams and peanuts!  We also got to spend time with other church friends that evening!  There are five other couples our age from church and we love this group of friends so much!  Ashley and Nick just had their first in July!  Andy and I had our first in January, Erin and Ben are expecting their first in May, Amy and Brian are getting married in May, Angela and Matt are expecting their first in August, and Heather and Jesse are expecting their first in August as well!  Needless to say, it has been a fun year with exciting news and new journeys to share together!  They all came and brought us dinner and sat around the campfire of my hospital bed and shared in our joy!

This special lady came all the way from Creedmoor to see us! (Creedmoor is a little north of Raleigh)  This is Ella's great grandmother!  Laura's dad's mother now has 6 great grandchildren!

Another future BFF came to see Ella as well.  This is Macy- Suzy's 10 month old daughter!  We have planned an arranged college roommate situation for them!  They MUST go to school together and live together!
