Save me from the cold stethoscope!
It's all over! Soothing skin on skin and an introduction of mommy and baby!
The first thing we ate... IKEA cinnamon roll (THANK YOU UNCLE FRYAN!)
Because I had gestational diabetes, I had been skipping the cinnamon rolls at IKEA (and we went there a lot in the last month!) I LOVE those things and they make the entrance and exit smell so amazingly good!
Happy Birthday, Ella! Her Uncle Fryan (yes, I know his name is Bryan, but Lauren used to call him that before she could say "B" and I loved it!) bought some birthday cupcakes with a candle in it to celebrate her birth! He is a great Uncle Fryan- we love you very much!
Meeting one of mommy's dearest friends- Mrs. Kelly! Kelly brought us Trader Joe's cinnamon rolls (and they were really good too!), my favorite bottle of wine (which I had not had since we learned of the little bug inside of me), and some fiber bars to help me out... if you know what I mean!?
After my first bath... look at my fuzzy hair!

Gotta say that cinnamon roll picture scared me a little until I knew what I was looking at!

Since you were little bitty I've thought you looked just like your mom but in that second picture of you looking at Ella all I see is your dad in your face! Precious.
